About the Institute

S.K.D.A.V. Government Polytechnic, Rourkela, is one of the oldest and most reputed diploma-level technical institutes in Odisha. Established in 1967, it was founded under the joint management of the Government of Odisha and the Dayanand Anglo Vedic (DAV) College Managing Committee. The institution has since grown into a key center for skill-based technical education in western Odisha.
