Majhighariani Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), Rayagada is a private engineering and professional education institution established in 1999 under the Basantdevi Charitable Trust. Named after the local deity Majhighariani, MITS is affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
