Bhadrak Autonomous College was established on 6 July 1948 with the initiative of notable personalities like Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab, a former Chief Minister of Odisha. Initially affiliated with Utkal University, the college later became affiliated with Fakir Mohan University after its establishment in 1999.
