ICAR–National Rice Research Institute (NRRI), formerly known as the Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI), was established on April 23, 1946. It is one of the premier research institutions under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), dedicated to rice research and training in India.

Eligibility:
For M.Sc. (Agri): Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related discipline
For Ph.D.: Master’s degree in relevant field of Agriculture
Admission Process:
Admissions are primarily through ICAR entrance exams (AIEEA-PG for M.Sc. and AICE-JRF/SRF for Ph.D.) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)
