About the Institute

Silicon Institute of Technology (SIT), Sambalpur, also known as Silicon West, is a premier private engineering institution established in 2009. Situated on a 37-acre campus in Sason, Sambalpur, Odisha, it is affiliated with the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute is managed by the Samleswari Education Trust and is a sister institution of Silicon University, Bhubaneswar. 

🎓 Academic Programs

SIT Sambalpur offers a 4-year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program in the following disciplines:

• Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)

• Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

• Electrical Engineering (EE)

• Mechanical Engineering (ME)

• Civil Engineering (CE)

Admissions are based on JEE Main scores, followed by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) counseling process.

The total tuition fees for the B.Tech programs range between ₹2.85 lakhs to ₹3.80 lakhs for the entire course duration.
