About the Institute

Established in 2016 by the Government of Odisha, Model Degree College, Nabarangpur, aims to provide quality higher education to students in the tribal-dominated regions of the Nabarangpur district. Affiliated with Vikram Dev University, Jeypore, the college offers undergraduate programs across Arts, Science, and Commerce streams. Situated in a serene environment, the college is committed to fostering academic excellence and holistic development among its students.

     • Hostel accommodations for male students (60-seater); a 40-seater girls' hostel is expected to be operational from the 2024–25 academic session.

5. Admissions:

   • Eligibility:

     • For B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.: Completion of 10+2 with relevant subjects from a recognized board.

   • Admission Process:

     • Admissions are conducted based on merit through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS), Odisha.

     • Follows reservation policies as prescribed by the Government of Odisha and the Government of India.
