About the Institute

Established on July 12, 1948, Maharaja Purna Chandra (MPC) Autonomous College is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions in Odisha. Named after Maharaja Purna Chandra Bhanja Deo, the enlightened ruler of the erstwhile princely state of Mayurbhanj, the college has been instrumental in providing quality higher education to students from Odisha and neighboring states. Located in Takatpur, Baripada, the college boasts a sprawling campus and a rich legacy of academic excellence.

   • Eligibility:

     • For Undergraduate Programs: Completion of 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

     • For Postgraduate Programs: Bachelor's degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution.

   • Admission Process:

     • Admissions are conducted based on merit through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS), Odisha.

     • Follows reservation policies as prescribed by the Government of Odisha and the Government of India.
