About the Institute

Established on July 7, 1958, Sashi Bhusan Rath Government Autonomous Women's College (SBRGWC) is a premier institution dedicated to women's education in southern Odisha. Initially affiliated with Utkal University, the college became affiliated with Berhampur University on January 1, 1967. It attained autonomous status in 2007 and was accredited with a 'B++' grade by NAAC in its second cycle in 2016. The college offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across Arts, Science, and Commerce streams, aiming to empower women through quality education.
