About the Institute

Srirama Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital (SCB Medical College), located in Cuttack, Odisha, is one of the oldest and most prestigious government medical institutions in India. Originally established in 1875 as the Orissa Medical School, it was upgraded to a medical college in 1944 and renamed after Srirama Chandra Bhanja Deo, a former Maharaja of Mayurbhanj.
