About the Institute
Vikram Dev University (VDU) is a state public university located in Jeypore, Koraput district, Odisha. It was established in 2023 by upgrading Vikram Deb Autonomous College, one of the oldest higher education institutions in the region, originally founded in 1947. The university is named after Maharaja Vikram Dev Verma, a prominent ruler and philanthropist of the erstwhile Jeypore kingdom.
